Sikiru Alimi has been awarded Remo Stars best player for the month of December.
Alimi scored three (3) goals in the last month of year 2023 to achieve the feat.
The striker beat the trio of Jide Fatokun, Dayo Ojo and Olamilekan Adebayo to claim the award.
Reacting to the achievement, he said: “This is dedicated to all the Sky Blue Stars family as a whole. Thank you for your unwavering support always, and this shall be a motivation coming into this great new year to put in more work and to achieve more collectively. Thank you.”
Alimi leads the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) goalscorers chart with 11 goals – and will hope to increase his tally when Remo Stars welcome Edith Agoye’s Sunshine Stars to Ikenne on Sunday.
